The Viral Marketing Secrets Of An Internet Marketer Exposed!

Viral Marketing is a form of marketing that uses email marketing and social networks to generate increases in product awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives through self replicating viral processes. Its like word of mouth but only on the internet and can greatly escalate your product awareness. Here are a few tips to set you in the proper direction.
1. Give Something Away for FREE: Viral marketing is evidence that when marketers make a compelling offer, the sky is the limit when it comes to the potential results so if this is done properly your brand awareness will skyrocket. Create an ebook or a short teaser video series or a multiple 3 or 4 part email campaign that gives useful information or knowledge on a subject and/or explains how to do something. People love FREE so if you give it to them and they will come and if its good content they will email about it or pass the info on and thus it becomes viral setting you up for a potential sales. Just tell them to pass it on if they like it and emphasize FREE.

2. Practice “Delayed Gratification”: Give away free teaser information that gives you a hint of whats in the complete version or give away free software programs that carry out powerful functions but not as much as you get in the “Pro” version or that can be used for a short specified period of time. This is a viral marketing pros’s trump card as it allows the customer a chance to start using your service and creates the desire to invest in the complete version if they like the limited use version. This builds trust and allows your potential customer to grow accustomed to having your service and greatly increases the chance for a sale or subscription to your product or service with high potential for repeat sales.
3. Keep Your Competitors in Mind: Do a joint venture (JV) and write your material for them. Have them send one of your articles out to their list and put their affiliate link in it and both your chances of making a sale are increased greatly as you already have a highly targeted audience who will rave about you and make a purchase if you have a great product, besides it gives your competitors a chance to earn money by promoting your products and receiving a share of the profits rather than just relying on their own products all the time. Trust me…you’ll generate a lot more money by working with competitors in the same industry than you will alone. Think outside the box and think of all competitors as potential partners, figure out how to add value to them and work on your free material to send to their list and watch your business soar!
Beginning an online business with less stress

A business might wonder if blogs are of use to them now, especially with the new popularity of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. Yet blogs still have a valuable place. After all, many companies realized a few years ago that customers were turned off by fact-heavy websites that looked like pages from an Annual Report. Once they made their sites more interactive, often by means of blogs, the whole company-customer dynamic changed and became more positive and interactive.
It’s well known in the business blogosphere that Dell Computers led the way, being one of the first companies to make such a change. Even as successful a business as Dell was, a barrier still existed between the company and its customers, many of whom had frustrating complaints that weren’t being addressed. When the company set up to receive blog entries, the turnaround in its relationship with customers was remarkable. General Motors, too, had a similar experience.
And for anyone considering running an online business the benefits of blogging can be enormous.
Blogs can even work in tandem with email newsletters. Many customers of a business will check the website regularly for the latest business info, and appreciate not having their inbox clogged with email. Others might still prefer the emails, so the company will need to use all the different ways of reaching out that are available. But the information on a blog will be less ephemeral than short Twitter updates that quickly vanish from a webpage. And customer replies will remain equally visible.
Businesses do need to be cautious about raising customers’ expectations, however. While an almost one-on-one relationship might be possible between a small business and its customers, larger companies may not be able to respond to all queries or complaints, and this could damage its reputation if it’s not careful.

But another use for blogging, and one that businesses might not even consider at first, is for internal communication. Even though employees can keep in touch via email, meetings or conference calls, an internal blog can focus on one department or a single project, providing a central place for a team to receive regular updates or make an informal record of their progress. This will keep these employees up to date without their own email inbox piling up to an unmanageable level.
Blogs are the elder sibling in the social networking world, and are still better at providing information and feedback in a more permanent form. Once blogging software made it possible for a business and its customers to interact in this way, the lines of communication opened widely. The company can provide up-to-date information about products and services, and customers can respond, thus both sides of the relationship benefit.
WordPress makes it easy on how to make a blog

I’ve been ‘on-line’ now for three years and I have built many , many websites for myself and others but it wasn’t until fairly recently I discovered how to make a blog using WordPress.
During those three years, I have learnt a massive amount and along the path made numerous mistakes and making some earnings along the way ( which is always nice ).
Now, there are 2 major ideas you must either learn yourself or have enough money to employ others to do for you :
1. Copywriting skills
2. Getting traffic to your website
Over time I have purchased several products to improve my copywriting skills in fact i have been mentored by 2 ‘world famous’ Internet gurus ( who I shan’t name here for confidentiality reasons ).
And yes, my copywriting skills improved but not to the level I wanted.
So, I thought who do the web gurus go to for their copywriting and one name kept coming up John Carlton.
You heard of John Carlton, the internet and Copywriting supremo?
I am expecting you have, as John is the one, many of the big net Guru’s ( like Frank Kern, John Reese, Jeff Johnson, Yanik Silver, Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero, Rich Schefren, Terry Dean, Dan Kennedy, Gary Bencivenga, Dr. Harlan Kilstein ) turn to for copywriting recommendation.
Well, a little while gone I made up my mind to splash out and join John’s easy Writing System course. It cost me $2000 and it was the best money i have ever spent on an internet marketing type course.
It was good for me a modular approach. Do A, get some feedback from John ( and other professionals ), then do B ( get more feedback ), then do C then pull it altogether.
The recommendation and feedback was precious.
One thing I noticed about the course a number of the ‘students’ on the course used WordPress for their websites.
So, that formed up my copywriting abilities.
One concept covered, now what about getting bundles and bundles of traffic to my sites.
What would be ideal for me would be another modular approach course I asked John C for some advice / advice. He revealed Jeff Johnson would be perfect for me.
So, Igo over to Jeff Johnson’s site and see he is giving away some free SEO software to increase the traffic to your site ( if it’s's based on WordPress ).
WordPress again!
There must be something to this WordPress lark.
I do a little research and see that WordPress is firstly free and second easy to install.
I register and host a ‘throwaway’ domain. Install WordPress. Play with WordPress. This is simple. This is easy. This is efficient. WordPress has an amazing list of features.
I install Jeff Johnson’s Free SEO software it makes things even easier!
I have been missing out.
I decide to join Jeff Johnson’s Underground coaching Lab.
Again it’s a module approach and you get Jeff Johnson’s customised professional version of his SEO software which is the much much more powerful giant bro version.
So I’m now hooked on WordPressit’s simple, it’s easy, it’s free and it has a fantastic list of built-in features including :
SEO Friendly
This is crucial when building an internet site or blog. WordPress has a number of functions, which allow it to be search engine friendly ( and even more so with Jeff Johnson’s FREE SEO software )
The Support
Millions of people use WordPress and there’s a large user community who develop and support the software. So any issues, do afast search and you’ll find the answer.
Little Coding
If you want a basic SEO friendly website ( and WordPress will give you one ) you don’t need to code ever again. Adding and changing your website is simple with WordPress.
Add-On’s ( otherwise known as plug-ins )
There are thousands of add-ons you can use ‘on top of’ the free WordPress software to make your site unique.
